My Dream Home

I will admit one of my all time favorite pastimes is looking at houses. I love driving around and walking through homes. I enjoy looking at all the different styles people chose to decorate there homes in. I love driving around to spot my favorite house! I love decorating homes and fanticizing about when I get the chance to build my dream home or even be able to buy a house I truly love and make it one of a kind!  I had the opprotunity to go to the parade of homes this year (thanks to my sweet fiance) and I loved it, I will definitely be going back the next year.. and the next. My mother and I went to about half the homes the parade had to offer this year and even on the way to those homes, I found a few I truly fell in love with.

this home is just simply one that I have driven past. But i love the pillars and the colors.

This is another house I am truly fond of. the pillars the slight coloniel look. The timeless and classy look.

Now at Parade of homes there was two homes that won my vote they were the McEwan Custom Home and Hartfield home. They are done both in very different designs, styles and themes and yet I could see myself living in both of them one day. McEwan's design was much more classy, formal and timeless. While the Hartfield home was a home you could see on the egde of the oceans, full of light colors and unique touches.

This is the McEwan Home. As you can tell it is the details of this home that make this home! I love everything about it. This home also including a sports court, a huge backyard and amazing patio! I would love to live in this home:)
I love this kitchen! The black cuppards along side the white!

The Hartfield home like I said before is colorful unique and bright. I love the wallpaper designs and the antique look! This home truly made and designed to be on the oceanside:)

I look forward to the day when I can put my creative ideas and imagination to work and creat the home of my dreams!

Confessions

One of my favorite features in Cosmo is their Confessions page. (C'mon, its hilarious). I sometimes wonder if these things are even really true since some of them are SO outlandish. Irregardless, it inspired me to make my own list of confessions.. Not the "I was hooking up with this guy and I totally farted in his face" kind, but more along the lines of, "I used to stuff my bra in 6th grade" kind.

                                                       *****************

I love facebook stalking people.

I love Dr. Pepper and chocolate, especially when I'm on my period.

I love Britney Spears CD Blackout. I workout to it, Listen to it at work and just when I simply need a boost to get me throught the day.

I lose my phone on a daily basis.

I absolutely LOVE to sing and dance in my underwear when no one is home with my music REALLY really loud!

Strangely I find Eminem attractive.

I sometimes fake-talk on my cell phone while I walk by the kiosks in the mall so I don't get hounded to get my hair curled, cuticles rubbed, or neck massaged.

I love fast food. LOVE. Not like greasy cheeseburgers love... but chicken nuggets and fries love. Oh, and Chic Fila is my fave. Its a sickness.

I love riding on the back of a motorcycle

I could watch Saved by the Bell and Fresh Prince of Bel Air everyday and it would never get old.

I keep a mini deodorant in my purse(always).. You know its a great idea.. c'mon.

One of my all time favorite shows is One Tree Hill..dont judge.

When I was little I'd pretend to fall asleep in the car so my parents would have to carry me inside.

I will without fail chew on the end of almost any pen I use.

I am not ashamed to admit I have every Justin Beiber song.. come on Baby is good:)

Phew. I feel much better now. Anything you want to confess?! :)

Not an Ordinary Sunday

You've read how we met. Now to the more juicy details.. How Ryan proposed!

It was April 10, and snowing, His parents told me the previous day that we need to head up to their cabin(mind you, the same cabin we met snowmobiling) to make sure the snow did not damaged anything. His whole family went up with snowmobiles earlier that day. Ryan and I stayed back waiting for his sister Kristen to come back from a homecoming. We left an hour or so after them. They picked us up at the gate with the snowmobiles. We all rode up the cabin. Ryan, Kristen and I were dropped off while the rest of them went on a ride (or so I thought). Ten minutes they arrived back at the cabin and it was our turn for a ride. We head out behind his parents on a ride they speed off in front of us and Ryan started to slow down... thinking this was strange, cause if you knew Ryan he likes going as fast as he can! But right ahead of us was a snowman with roses in the front of it and the ring hanging from its hand! I started freaking out.. Right then and there I knew what was happening! It took me by surprise cause he assured me it wasn't for a few more days!!! We stood there for a moment.. before i asked "Are you going to get on one knee or what?!" He knelt down, Poured his heart out and asked me to marry him. Of course I said "YES!" I could not imagine my life without him!! I will never forget this day and how creative and successful it was. Thanks to his family for building the snowman, bringing the dozen roses and ring up without my knowing! Love you all :)

A Winter Wonderland

So here's the story of how we met according to my(Ryan's) perspective..... a buddy and I had been planning on going snowmobiling up to my cabin in the Uinta's for a few weeks and it was going to work out perfectly, with an apporoaching storm that would give us some of that white fluffy stuff snowmobilers dream about. About the night before he had informed me that he had some lady friends lined up to go with us. For me that wasn't to thrilling because I just wanted to get out the sled and rip it up, but I went along with it. We ended up meeting up with these girls he knew from Orem(Happy Valley to us northeners haha). We met them in Park City so that they could follow us to the cabin. Well they ended up having to wait there for awhile because it took us about an hour to get up Parley's Canyon because of traffic due to all the new snow we were getting and the fact that I was driving my mom's truck with the snowmobiles behind it, talk about white knuckle driving!!! Eventually we met up and we took off to the cabin.

Jenn's in the red, My date in white and buddy in black.
After arriving to the parking lot and getting all our gear up and loaded. We started the ride up to the cabin. As soon as we got to the cabin and got everything settled in. We decided to hit the powder and show the ladies some fun. I think I had only said two words to my date, who's name was Alyssa, at this point. We messed around in this huge field and we were all getting pretty wet, whenwe decided to head back to the cabin for dinner(which us guys planned on making for them) and to dry out.

As we got back at the cabin I made us a fire and got the girls some blankets to warm up. I think they had on every single bit of clothing they packed. We decided to put in a movie. As the four of us were hanging out and relaxing, I started laying everything out by the fire so that it would be dry by the end of the night. My buddy goes and starts preparing dinner when all of a sudden his date Jenn, comes over and starts small talk with me. Not thinking anything of it I continue talking to her while he is in the kitchen with my date!  I guess we end up hitting it off ....

ha ha so after all this we end up taking the girls back to their car on the sleds and sending them on their way. Luckily we have cell service up there so my buddy texted them the whole way home and ended up giving Jenn my number because she wasn't responding to his texts, even though she was getting them!! GIRLS!!! ha ha She texted me the next day and said thanks for letting us come up and that we should hang out sometime soon!! And that's how we got here!!! Thanks Barry!!! :)
